So remember the other day when I mentioned The Cooks' Library? I had to go back today.
I had a meeting nearby, and I couldn't get Apples for Jam out of my head. It's a gorgeously designed book, with an enticing mix of memories, prose, and recipes. I hope the recipes are as good as the book is beautiful - but if not, it was worth it for the photography.
Other books I purchased:
Arabesque. A Taste of Morocco, Turkey and Lebanon, Claudia Roden
Counter Intelligence. Where to Eat in the Real Los Angeles, Jonathan Gold
Madhur Jaffrey's World Vegetarian
The Silver Palate Good Times Cookbook, Julee Rosso
