It's funny how some of the "older generation" still doesn't get the blob/blog thing. My Mom still asks how to find me online, even though I've showed her and written the address down numerous times.
My friend Ray's grandmother refers to the "Intertent," as in, "Oh, they've got everything on that intertent." It cracks me up to visualize a virtual network of tents, each full of a particular site.
Yeah, those are like mines. Apparently there's a few types. I can't remember the word, but it was something along the lines of indiscriminate. They're all over the darned place. Each of my plants are about 7.5 feet across and 5 feet tall.
Wow, those are crazy tomatoes!
P.S. How cute is your grandma in her curl pins?

Go, Grandma!

You should set her up with her own Greenthumb Blob. If I could get my tomatoes to look like that I'd be on it everyday! Very impressive.

Wow, your grandma's tomatoes put my tomatoes to shame! Does she have any tips? Maybe you could have her do a stint as guest-blober :-)

The tomatoes are seriously out of control. She actually already has trimmed them back! My aunt says that they remind her of Little Shop of Horrors.
I'll ask grandma what her tips are and report back.

Plant with chicken manure compost! Chickens rule.

If all those comments from your mom weren't enough to make me want to get adopted by your family, this would have done it.
But I think if there's anything blob-like it's those tomato plants. They're taking over the patio! :D

I,m a grandmother, but I don´t manage to grow tomato plants like that. What growing techniques does she use?
Fascinating large tomato plants.

This photo brought the biggest smile to my face--it's fantastic! She's going to be very busy when all the fruit starts to come in!

Too cool! She is way closer to the actual name "blog" than any of my grandparents. Kudos to her!
