Happy Birthday, Mom!
My mother has a very. big. birthday today. I sent her a note last night asking her if she was ready to say good-bye to a decade. "It's all about hello," she wrote back. In the past week she went camping, did a trust fall, climbed a wall, and participated in a ropes course. What a way to say hello.

It's a good thing I'm not in the witness protection program. heh heh.
It was a great birthday mostly because I survived boot camp. I never thought I'd climb a tree unless a bear was chasing me but I did and I recommend it.
The start of my second sixty years is made sweeter knowing that my daughter has an all-star team of friends. But, of course she does. :)
Thanks, Anita for the HB's. We think of you here each time we use your North Woods Inn slaw recipe because you made it so lovingly when your family needed comfort.
I think I'll go get a tattoo now.
